TRIPLE CROWN

INTRODUCTION
Meet Virginia's breathtaking showstopper : The Triple Crown!  Your adventure sits just north of Roanoke in the Catawba Valley and is comprised of three unique trails named Dragons Tooth, Tinker Cliffs and McAfee Knob. The triple crown is a trek providing your fill of technical hiking, rock scramble, distance hiking and the world famous Appalachian trail.  Yes, the Triple Crown highlights all three summits and is perfect for an extended weekend (with camping) or can also be completed piece meal.

Trail Rating: Very Strenuous
Things to Know
1. White blaze ( Appalachian Trail)
2. Toughest and shortest of the three

3. A summit spire! 
4. Elevation gain of over 1500 FT
5. Not good for kids or pets
