A 1.8 mile excursion to visit a rock jetty which showcases the New River Gorge and the new river gorge bridge. the trail is a short ramble through the forest utilizing a single-track to sift through mountain laurel, dense forest and sprawling areas of fern and fauna. The trail has a few magical moments like a mountain laurel tunnel as well as towering trees to gaze upon. The summit is a narrow rock jetty, which requires all visitors to be mindful of their step and mindful of others as you eat up the view. To return to your car, please retrace your steps. HIKE ON! |
