THE INTRO
Let's make some moments! Big ideas and big wants abound for any trail experience. It's amplified when you are a parent working to achieve a day or weekend experience for your family. There is a lot to account for as a parent when organizing a family hike, aside from what to bring, what to wear , the weather forecast or enduring the "are we there yet?". The first question is actually, " where the heck do we go?" . In planning for a family hike, I recommend keeping one thing in mind that helps your planning that helps your family develop a connection with the outdoors and helps motivate for future trail experience. That one thing is to be mindful that " kids want the wow!". Kids are attracted to big shiny objects, its their why. Before planning your next adventure, ask them what they would like to see, experience or explore , it goes a long way to helping them form a connection to the outdoors. And so, Into the Yonder created the ultimate kids trail guide, to provide you a resource to meet the wow! of your kid/s! and to get their little legs roaming on trails , hike on!
