The Experience

You will love:   Water features, dense pine and adventurous rock outcrop with 270 degree vista. Solitude is your cologne along with a unique rock formation to lay out and smell the pine fresh air.
You need to know:  No permit or pass required.
The Devils Nose trail sounds ominous but to be frank it’s a fast paced trail with limited interruption to your destination. The trail is heavily wooded and downgrades through the forest to several water features and a thicket of pine. The trail markings are light or inconsistent so be mindful of this as you move with purpose. Once you make the water feature, then it’s a short but steady incline to the Devils Nose. Your summit is a rock outcrop that jetties (like a nose) into the valley. The nose is fun to explore, lay out on or lunch on… once you have had your fill then retrace your steps back to your car.
